Each child deserves the very best care and attention. In order for ASA to better provide for your child, we require all forms and data to be filled out prior to their first day.
Holidays:
ASA will be closed on all major holidays including: Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Families are still responsible for tuition on these days. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the center will be closed the previous Friday or following Monday. Please check the holiday list posted in our lobby to confirm center closings.
Vacation Policy:
Children that are enrolled full time or 5 days a week at ASA receive10 days of vacation upon their child's first day in attendance. For part time children attending less than 5 days a week, vacation days are determined based upon enrollment days per week multiplied by 2. For example, if your child attends the center 3 days a week, he/she will receive 6 days to use for vacation throughout the year. A vacation form must be filled out two weeks in advance to use these days.
Illness Policy:
If your child becomes ill or cannot attend their scheduled hours, a phone call must be placed prior to 8:30 a.m. letting the staff know your child will not be in attendance.
Outdoor Policy:
ASA's outdoor area is great for warm summer days as well as snowy winter days. We ask that parents provide clothing that is appropriate for the weather including: boots, hats, gloves/mittens, scarfs, winter jackets-for winter season and non-aerosol sunscreen, hats, and closed toed shoes for summer play.
